The Venue Vixens is made up of four experienced, professional wedding and event planners who have banded together to become a resource to help you – the bride, the retreat planner, the organizer, in finding the PERFECT location to hold your special event.
We are familiar with countless venues and have done the research (or we know how to ask the questions!) so that your venue hunting and scouting trips can be controlled, saving you time and worries, to ensure that the facility you are considering is within your budget consideration, head count needs, style, and specifications.
Are you envisioning a rustic barn, historic mansion, orchard, winery, chateau, villa, ballroom, vistas, urban chic, or art galleries? There is generally something for everybody, and the Venue Vixens have worked hard to narrow down the search and ease your mind (and feet!).
Our site inspections have taken us from Lake County, Placer and El Dorado Counties, Sacramento River Delta, wineries in Amador County, Napa County,Lodi/San Joaquin County and Lake Tahoe.
As one of the original founding members of The Venue Vixens, I’d like to introduce myself…
I have been involved in the Northern California wedding industry for over 30 years (I was actually just 10 when I got my start… NOT!) My early beginnings were “in the trenches.” While attending high school and college in Sacramento, California, I was an active member of a large Presbyterian church. The youth group assisted the ladies of the church with luncheons, teas, wedding receptions, and political fundraisers – from working in the kitchen, arranging flowers, cutting cake, to serving tables. I am honored to be a Venue Vixen and be a part of this incredibly valuable and professional service. I bring a unique angle to the Venue Vixens of having five years of venue operations and food and beverage management experience. This gives the Venue Vixen team an insider’s look at business operations, contract writing, the feasibility of particular types of events, and much more. I have an eye for ‘diamonds in the rough’ and I have a fresh understanding of what brides and clients want for planning their events.
Though I am the youngest of the Venue Vixens, I have owned my own successful wedding planning business for over five years. read more
I am privileged to be a part of this incredible team of event professionals and hope to bring many creative ideas to the group. While attending college I worked for a lighting company that also produced conventions and expositions. There, I was introduced to the world of events and decided…read more
Under the tutelage of my Grandmother, I began my path as an event planner when I was just 5 years old! I assisted “Grammy” while she hosted exquisite social functions for the San Jose social scene and the family’s company parties. Although my very important responsibilities were mainly answering the door and passing hors d’oeuvres they steadily increased as I grew. My passion for the social and corporate event markets continue today where I am the Executive Director of The Center at Twenty-Three Hundred, a new event venue located in Sacramento. read more
