Hanford Ranch Winery is a 40 acre ranch in Lodi Wine Country, less than a one hour drive from Sacramento. This “out in the country” venue has all the beauty and charm of rural life. It sits atop a hill with wonderful panoramic views of the Sierras, Mt. Diablo and the coastal range, as well as the bucolic scene below of the ranch’s grazing cattle and vineyards. Ideal!
After traveling the country roads past the open pastures and white washed fences, you arrive at the lovely wedding venue. Hanford Ranch offers several options to hold the ceremony. Some options are the majestic Heritage oak tree overlooking the property or maybe you envision a palm tree garden with lush flowering plants. The palm fronds dancing with the Delta breezes have a cooling, almost tropical feel.
Pathways wander about the hilltop space down terraced paths and over to an outdoor firepit. These are perfect for strolling photos and romantic moments. The central patio courtyard is very large and open. It’s surrounded by flowering bushes and plants, plus it has fun strands of market lights across the patio. Your guests will enjoy stunning sunsets, dinner and dancing under the stars! You have the option to rent a tent on the northwest side of the property, and there are no barrier obstructions. A tent would offer shade for day-time events.
In addition, Hanford Ranch has a nicely appointed bridal prep room. The wedding party may dress, plus hair and make-up services may be taken care of right on site. That’s a great feature.
Bonus – you may work with your own (licensed and insured) catering company. Hanford Ranch Wines are served exclusively and they will calculate a minimum case purchase based on headcount. Speaking of wine, prominently positioned in the center of the property is the tasting room – handsomely furnished, with a great western theme. It has windows on three sides to enjoy the views. Colorful umbrellas and deck seating, as well as a sweet small patio area, add to the ambiance of the tasting room. From the reception courtyard, this air conditioned space is convenient for guests to stroll to, select their evening beverage and enjoy the interior space, the views, and watch the party action!
