A little gem, hidden right in the middle of Sacramento (Carmichael region), the Courtyard at Forty Three Sixty is a great place for a celebration of any kind.  This venue includes a charming courtyard with a lovely azure blue fountain center stage.  Along one way of the courtyard there are several vine covered alcoves perfectly sized for dinner tables and opening up to the courtyard.  There is also a brick fireplace in the corner, with some built in benches, just perfect for the cooler Sacramento evenings.

Adjacent to the courtyard is the courtyard lawn, surrounded by beds of blooming flowers and interesting vines and greenery.  This area is shaded by a large tree and will work perfectly for an intimate wedding ceremony (100 would be a good number).  This ceremony lawn even has a pretty arch which was constructed using the iron window covering which at one point were on the house.  Raised brick flower beds with fun paths and glorious fragrant roses are intoxicating.  Prior to a courtyard dinner, we envision guests strolling though the rose garden, enjoying  conversation and wine in this setting during the cocktail hour (it almost has a Secret Garden essence).

Courtyard at Forty Three Sixty would be lovely for a quieter, sweet wedding ceremony, or a bridal shower, luncheon or a corporate dinner function.  It’s pretty, sophisticated and has a backyard “home style” feel to its setting… definitely not a wedding mill!

The caterers will feel right at home working out of the presentation kitchen, which can be open so the guests can see some of the final preparations of the meal.  The large counter tops make for great buffet arrangements.  One of our very own Vixen vendors is the preferred onsite caterer, Jackson Catering and Events…and Chef Chris or Chef Branden would definitely be fun to watch preparing all their delicious cuisine.  The house, which is now used for office needs, also offers a nice bridal dressing room for the bride and maids.

Be sure to check out this special venue when planning your celebration.  We thank Andrea Bucheli for joining us on this site tour and capturing the beauty of the grounds.
