A summer weekend ranch retreat with the Vixens
We were invited by the generous owners of 14 Oaks Ranch to enjoy the full experience of a weekend on the ranch. Read the Featured Review here of this great property. All four Vixens, plus Catrina’s two little guys and Kendra’s 14 year old son (he was our official photographer and really rocked the images) were able to join us, so we had lots of family time and fun! 14 Oaks Ranch has all the amenities you can imagine… all we brought was an overnight bag and lots of food and wine. Laurie mastered the grill and the rest of us whipped up quite an evening feast. Lora handled the mimosas and breakfast egg casserole. Terry, the ranch hand took a bunch of us in his pickup to feed the resident buffalo and zebra – YES, I said zebras!! He also gave lessons on skeet shooting (great form Laurie and Cat!!) – shuffle board, horseshoes and leisurely sunset chair rocking (with a full view of the Sutter Buttes) was on the agenda… and a little book reading (very little)!
