Located just minutes from downtown Sacramento, this hip and trendy venue on Del Paso Boulevard is within the “Uptown District.” With its bold red and black exterior, the building is easy to find along the boulevard and offers convenient parking behind the venue.

1442 on the Blvd is a blank slate, ready for you to apply your design concept. We feel the space is “modern industrial.” We appreciate brick walls along with the wall of windows on the front that are frosted to keep the lookie-loos from peeking in!

Two dramatic features will impress you immediately upon entering the 2,400 square foot space: The open wood-beam ceiling and the highly polished epoxy floor. In addition, strands of lights line the wood beams for a fun and festive vibe. Another great feature is the roll up garage door that opens onto the large patio. The patio is partially fenced in, with a lovely heritage oak tree on the side and romantic market lights strung across the entire patio. This is a great spot for a lounge, outside bar setup and for hanging out at cocktail tables.

1442 on the Blvd is the perfect venue for small parties such as baby or bridal showers, an upscale cocktail party, or dinner function. A Celebration of Life gathering would work well here, as well as business meetings or a corporate function. The best interior headcount is 80 to 150 depending on cocktail style or sit-down dinner. A small prep kitchenette is available, however, no cooking on-site please. Your professional off-site caterer will have great suggestions as to how to set up their prep and serving area. Also, food trucks can easily pull up and serve utilizing the patio.

And lastly, this venue is perfect for those that want to do some DIY projects. The long rental period gives extra time for installations. Or hire your own vendors or team of pros; you have freedom as to who you wish to work with. There are no limitations, but day-of event insurance is required.

Tables and black banquet chairs are available for up to 100 and a small refrigeration cooler for dessert items or flowers. Be sure to ask about items that can be added on or rented such as linens or decor items. 1442 on the Blvd can be rented hourly or for a day rate. It’s a sweet spot so be sure to give this venue your consideration.
