Andis winery will immediately catch your eye as you wind through the Amador Wine country of the Shenandoah Valley. This super modern facility was built in 2010 and saw its first vintage produced just prior to opening in 2008. Though the grapes have been growing since 1980, this venue is just three years old. Twenty-five acres of grapes including Barbera and Malbec grow on this beautiful piece of land. The winery has been noted in Wine Enthusiast and produces a personal favorite of mine (and many others!),  a world class Sauvignon Blanc.

New to Amador County is this fabulous new event space. Andis features a beautiful side lawn with shade sails overhead, an outdoor sound system, and barrels with chairs and umbrellas. This space would be ideal for a ceremony overlooking the Amador County rolling hills and vineyards, or a great outdoor reception space. In addition to this area a grass lawn is tucked behind the main building and could be used for any type of event. Unlike most wineries in the area, Andis has a covered event space option and the most perfect indoor barrel room option. This modern, metal roofed and metal sided building makes a fabulous backdrop to your event or wonderful indoor option too.  The stark contrast of the architecture against the green of nature is stunning.

Though the wine season will dictate the use of the spaces, the indoor barrel room has flexibility to use the wine barrels to define the space or simply leave them as they are, roll up the large garage door to the views of the vineyard, and host a spectacular event under their market lights strung throughout the space. This room features an indoor sound system and microphone and additional string lights if requested.

A perfect small conference space is also available for small luncheons and meetings within the main building. Skip the office and host your employees at the winery instead for a productive meeting. The room is equipped with full audio/visual needs and features a wine barrel slated ceiling.  Near this space sits the main tasting room with a long, modern tasting bar, corresponding standing cocktail tables, and large windows overlooking the vines. This space would make a great dinner party location for 40 guests or a perfect cocktail space for any style event.

Andis is excited to offer their new facility for events and has many flexible opportunities to offer. Your choice of caterer, budget friendly rental packages, and the multiple spaces are all yours after tasting hours. Be sure to get your name engraved on a wine barrel slat and displayed at the entryway as their first 200 wine club members and any more have. Start planning now, because this event space won’t have dates available for long!
