Bailarin Cellars and Wine Tasting Room is a unique concept for an intimate event space.  It is located in downtown Sacramento on the K Street promenade, in a gorgeous newly renovated historic building. This venue is the perfect location for a rehearsal dinner, a micro wedding, bridal shower, birthday gathering, or for corporate socials.  Bailarin is within walking distance to the Golden 1 Arena, and the Sawyer Hotel (as well as other Sacramento hotels).  The awesome outdoor patio is great for sipping wine and people watching. The patio can hold approximately 20 people, so it would be very nice for a small party.

The beautiful interior of Bailarin Cellars, with brick walls, handsome wood bar, and huge mirrored back bar would make for a sophisticated wine party. The sumptuous velvet banquette is so elegant!  Be sure to look up and notice the retro pressed tin ceiling; a great production of days gone by.   And we haven’t even mentioned the awesome private basement cellar room in development!  For those who don’t know Sacramento history, the original street level of Sacramento was the basement level of these historic buildings.  Due to flooding from the Sacramento River, buildings were jacked up and raised so that the second floor is now the first floor and the catacombs under street level are extremely interesting to tour.

Back to one of the most important parts of Bailarin Cellars, the wine.  Their grapes are grown and wine is bottled in Sonoma County. There are various vineyards in Sonoma County to produce their awesome fruit. We are very lucky that they opened up this Sacramento tasting room that offers wines that are recognized by Wine Enthusiast and other publishers.  Wine flights are available for individuals or specially designed for intimate groups.  The tasting room is an ideal venue to hold wine tasting parties and wine pairing dinners.  They offer cheese, charcuterie and other small bites to pair, and they can arrange catering for a full dinner event through many of their neighboring businesses and restaurant affiliations.

Bailarin Cellars can accommodate 20 people on the patio and up to 90 people for a full buy out of the interior spaces.  What fun!

Check out their website for their wine store.

Fun Fact:  If you haven’t guessed, Bailarin in Spanish means “dancer.”  Hence the awesome metal work logo of the dancer displayed in the tasting room.
