The drive through the rolling hills of the lush Capay Valley in Yolo County is one of the best parts of making the trip to Cache Creek Resort & Spa. Only an hour’s drive West from Sacramento and just seven miles “as the crow flies” from Calistoga, CA, this property is well worth the journey. Immediately entering the lobby of the Resort, you’ll gaze upon a huge wall of water, gently flowing downward; it’s a very impressive art piece.  The excitement of the casino gaming experience is just one aspect of this beautiful property.  When the Vixens arrived, the action was hoppin’!  The Spa is state-of-the-art with wet and dry saunas, three different massage therapies, facials, and the
convenience of having bridal “manis and pedis” done on property is perfect.

Wedding ceremonies or party gatherings can occur on the open elevated lawn space overlooking rolling hills and oak trees dotting the landscape.  Just steps away are the
Napa/Sonoma banquet rooms where the Chef serves up sumptuous menu items.  We reviewed the menu packet which offered a Dim Sum and Wok prepared Asian Buffet, Mexican Fiesta and Italian inspired buffets, and specialties such as Fresh King Salmon Filet.  Wow!

Hands-down, the multi-tiered pool area was one of the best spaces we’ve come across.  Dancing, partying, intimate conversations in the Cabanas, sipping late night beverages in lounge areas, and fire pits… it is an outstanding area.  We love it!  Cache Creek will set up theatrical lighting to illuminate the architectural features surrounding the pool so that the area glows with warmth and romance.  Pretty by day, and GOR-geous by night.  The convenience of holding the wedding ceremony, the indoor dinner reception, and the evening partying poolside is perfection!

Thank you to Diana Miller of Diana Miller Photography for providing these great photos of this beautiful property.
