Monte Verde Inn is Located in the Sierra foothills of Placer County amongst pine trees. The Inn was built in the 1930’s, designed in the Georgian Manor style, and it is on the historic registry. It sits at the end of a perfect
tree-lined driveway with brick stanchions standing sentry. The white with black trim traditional home is elegant and stately, especially with the huge fountain and manicured hedges.
The wedding ceremony area is behind the inn, set back amongst a grove of towering cedar trees. It has a lovely permanent arch calling for your design touch. This ceremony setting is on a lovely paved patio that doubles as the dance floor later in the night.
The cocktail patio area is next to the inn and has black high cocktail tables and umbrellas that are part of the inclusions at the Monte Verde Inn. A built-in bar and appetizers are part of the packages offered.
Finally, the dinner tables are positioned on the lawn between the cocktail space and dance patio. The tables are surrounded by pretty casual flower beds and garden art dotted about. Monte Verde is a full service venue and the staff executes service seamlessly. In addition, the outstanding cuisine is divine!
This private estate can host a 200 person event, yet it feels naturally intimate. If you do have a small, or a winter event, the inside ballroom can accommodate 80. It is so elegant! Bonus: The Inn has overnight guest accommodations of up to 13 of your most important guests. One large room is perfect for the ladies to get ready.
Photo ops abound – a small vineyard, a rustic barn, and stone walls. This venue cannot be defined as a backyard wedding by any means, but has the warmth and feel of such.
