Mount Brow Vineyard is a beautiful vineyard, venue and vacation retreat located in Sonora, CA. It sits on 82 acres of rolling foothills that was former cattle land. It’s fun to pass by original structures like the vine covered bunkhouse and the original circuit pastor’s cabin. Both provide charming photo ops.
Mount Brow offers a number of options for ceremony sites. One of the preferred locations is centrally placed under a heritage oak tree, just steps from a shady grapevine arbor and lawn for cocktails. A nearby year-round creek and the vineyards all make for a picture-perfect day. A second option is up the hill with views of the mountains, a meadow, and the rolling hills with heritage oaks. There are a couple different arches to use as well as wooden benches for guest seating.
The reception barn is large, providing 2,500 square feet of indoor space for up to 200 guests. With white walls and rustic touches, any design is do-able. It’s a blank canvas. There is romantic, cool chandeliers hanging from the exposed beams.
As far as dressing space for the bridal party, immediately next to the reception barn is a lovely remodeled bridal suite with nice lighting and mirrors. Additionally, it has a bathroom and kitchenette for your use (morning mimosas anyone?) The gentlemen have the use of a second large barn, complete with pool table, large TV, leather couch, bar area, and plenty of room to hang out.
The main estate house is 3,300 square feet and comfortably sleeps 14. The house was built with entertainment in mind with a large gourmet kitchen, pool table, bocce ball court, swimming pool/spa and more. It’s offered as an AirBnB to guests. This is a perfect house to utilize for the weekend of relaxation and fun!
With all that Mount Brow has to offer, by renting the estate house, you can have your weekend accommodations, wedding prep area, ceremony and reception site wrapped into one breathtaking location. Did we mention the stunning sunrises AND sunsets?
