Nestled in the Arden-Arcade area of Sacramento just off the freeway is a gem of a venue ~ The Pavilion at Haggin Oaks.   Passed by many traveling motorist, it’s a beautifully kept secret tucked back from the hustle and bustle.  Surrounded by oak trees, and the well-manicured lawns of this beautifully maintained golf course is a serene and inviting setting for groups both large and small. It’s an ideal location for those looking for a peaceful and full service location with easy access to  everything Sacramento has to offer.

The Pavilion offers a couple options for a ceremony site, the first being a sweet gazebo with breathtaking views of the rich landscape.  The second is beneath a 300 year old Heritage oak tree which your guests a more intimate feel and up-close view as they enjoy your ceremony, and then there is the romantic symbolism this towering beauty provides. This venue is highly customizable, and with the serene setting of one of the city’s most desirable golf courses as your palate, you simply can’t go wrong.  Adjacent to the gazebo and oak tree, there is a fire pit and lounge area ideal for pre-reception cocktails and appetizers or the new concept of holding a s’mores station fireside.

The tented reception area is my favorite part; its HUGE and clean, romantic with modern touches.  The romantic fabric draping will make your reception feel elegant and classic and the stamped concrete floor is shiny, modern – and oh so easy to dance on (no need to rent a special dance floor). The crystal chandeliers add to the beauty of this fabric pleated tent structure.  The incredibly flexible setting and facility staff can make your every creative desire come true! The Pavilion offers on-site catering with an array of options, from buffet-style to a formal sit-down dinner and a huge menu as well, and the food is artfully executed and tastes incredible!  (We know, the Vixens enjoyed a terrific luncheon within the tent one spring afternoon).

The 75 year old Haggin Oaks Golf Course has seen many famous golfers play this course.  It is a public golf course, so very convenient and affordable for the guests to arrange for a round the morning of your event of over the weekend.

The Pavilion offers an experience you will never forget. The service oriented and hardworking staff aims to please and trust me, they do. Hosting your wedding here will allow you to have a quiet country setting, right in the middle of the city!  The best of both worlds.

Thank you to Visiting Vixen, Allison of Allison Stahl Photography for many of these those.  A few pictures came from the venues website taken by Quinn Photography.
