Rancho Victoria Weddings is a stunning outdoor location located in Amador County. The property offers many options for a wedding celebration, retreat, or really any type of group event. More than 150 years ago, the area was a cattle ranch in what was known as Victoria Valley.
Now the surrounding hillsides are planted in grapevines, thus lovely views are in every direction. Cattle and horses dot the landscape which makes for a photographer’s dream with hilltop vistas and 360 degree views.
Enter through split rail welcoming gates, drive along vineyards, and arrive at the ample parking area. The first building visible is the charming 1930’s era house which includes the Dressing Room. How fun to add a bridesmaid brunch and hair and makeup on property. Since Rancho Victoria is a VRBO property, you have the option to rent it for the entire weekend or for the entire week. This allows for DIY decorations, entertaining for a multi-day event, or perhaps a nice mini-moon after your wedding day.
Guests can gather on the lovely patio just behind the house, perfect as a pre-ceremony mix and mingle spot. This patio can also be used for an intimate luncheon area, or corporate retreat setting. Adjacent is the lush Terrace Lawn which is perfect for a wedding ceremony. The arbor and elevated “stage” is ideal for the nuptials to take place. The trees provide good afternoon shade and the flowerbeds surrounding are full of color so you can minimize additional florals.
Just beyond the Terrace Lawn, through a weathered wooden doorway, is the large open-air reception/dinner deck. Rolling hills surround this area and the views are beautiful. The deck can be tented if you desire, but once the sun drops and the evening unfolds, the market lights create magical ambiance. No need to rent a dance floor because the deck is smooth and perfect for a celebratory dance party.
The split rail fencing and rustic outbuildings and barns with galvanized metal roofs complete the ranch vibe. A handsome fun bar and cocktail space with wine barrel tables is just feet from the dinner area. Note: the groom and his men has a very cool space for gathering and last minute preparations in one of the barn tack rooms.
Finally, if you desire to marry in nature and under the branches of a heritage oak tree, a brand new ceremony space has been developed. With vineyards and the foothills as a backdrop this is truly a little slice of country, and Heaven! Just add chairs and your ceremony will be complete. The natural beauty of the venue will make for happy memories for years to come.
