The perfect scenario is a beautiful garden setting event location with an indoor back-up option all in one, and the Rocklin Event Center offers this and so much more. I had the pleasure of working a beautiful October wedding at the event center where thunder storms surprised everyone at the last minute. Planning a fall outdoor wedding can be very stressful without the option of pulling things indoors. Even better when your back-up plan includes newly remodeled indoor spaces with neutral designs, special lighting features along with a lot of natural lighting, and ample flexibility in reserving these spaces without the worry another event may take your place.

Don’t stop reading just yet if you’re not a ballroom/event center type of bride or corporate client. The jewel of this property is its garden setting. One of the largest outdoor garden designs in the area, this space allows for a beautiful outdoor ceremony along with garden cocktail space, lawn games, and a covered seating area with garden furniture. The center of this space has a large fountain with bench seating around, blooming rose bushes and azaleas, and offers two back drop settings: a pergola and a gazebo. The Rocklin Event Center includes 150 white folding chairs for an outdoor ceremony and some tables for outdoors. Adding rental cocktail tables, a bar set up, and add lawn games, well this space is perfect!

The most intimate event space has the view of the gardens through its full-glass-wall sliding doors onto the patio just off the gardens. This space is ideal for small parties, meetings and receptions up to 80 guests. With the glass walls drawn back, the patio space adds additional seating for 40 guests and the indoor-outdoor ideal event situation. This indoor space is neutral in design and allows for your creative touches!

Two of my favorite rooms at the Rocklin Event Center are the getting ready rooms. The bridal suite is smaller than the groom’s getting ready space, but the groom’s room could make a great bachelor party location or swanky birthday or cocktail party spot. This is a man’s-man room without a doubt, but if that masculine feel fits for your party then rock-on here! Either way, these spaces allow for a relaxing day prior to the wedding and plenty of space for everyone. The Bridal room is beautifully decorated, light and airy, with large mirrors and comfy seats.

Now, if you love a classy, large, open-floor-plan ballroom, the Rocklin Event center offers this too. Comfortably seating over 300 guests with a grand stage and built-in wood dance floor this space allows for every type of event. Neutral carpet and overall design along with a luxurious lobby, built in lighting and sound system, make this facility hard to compete with. The flexibility of an hourly rental rate in addition to extensive kitchen and prep areas will allow your planning to include catering of all levels and many cost saving options.

There are many perks I have not touched on, so be sure to call the Rocklin Event Center and discover this best kept secret event facility now!  The City of Rocklin operates this venue and a few others, so check out what they have to offer!  Photos obtained through Chris Howard Photography and website search.
