The amenities are hard to beat with a gleaming white 1870’s mansion, 2 PGA Golf Courses, more than 8 event spaces in which to create your magical events, 340 guest rooms, a world class spa, 10 pools, and tennis courts, along with endlessly beautiful manicured landscaping, an onsite market, lawn games and a fire pit. The service, ease, and comfort this property offers is unparalleled. Let’s jump right into the options for planning your next event!

The Mansion Estate was originally owned by Johnny Miller in World War II. The history and prestige of this mansion and property are well earned. Just by circumstance, an unrelated man, named Johnny Miller, became the newest owner of the property in the 1960’s when the mansion and estate became a resort. What are the chances?! The mansion itself overlooks one of the golf courses, with a terraced interior dining room, a large bar, and expansive outdoor patio. Private events and Sunday brunches are ideal for these spaces. The offered accommodations include cottages, large suites with kitchenettes, two and three bedroom suites along with standard resort rooms.

Within the mansion you’ll find two small breakout rooms that inspire intimate meetings or dinner parties. These classic spaces with a fireplace and regal feel offer a masculine esthetic to counter the soft beauty of many of the other facilities. Moving through the mansion you’ll find the Vintner’s Court, which pairs perfectly as a reception space to the Vineyard’s ceremony location [see below for details]. The far end of the mansion will lead you to the Royal Oak Room, Silverado Ballroom, and the Fairway Deck.

The Royal Oak Room overlooks the golf course with large glass walls. This neutral space is ideal for up to 70 guests and is nearest the Outside Terrace for an indoor/outdoor feel. Attached is the Christian Brother’s Room which boasts of its history as the original restaurant in the mansion with nearly black walls and a circular lighted chandelier, and works perfectly as the bar or buffet space when using the Royal Oak Room. The most ornate and formal space offered is the Silverado Ballroom. Adorned with grand chandeliers, neutral and sophisticated use of colors, a portable stage and bars, and many inclusive upgrades such as queen chairs and a variety of table sizes, including the much sought after king and queen’s tables. This space can be divided into 4 smaller rooms or remain as one large room accommodating up to 350 guests.

Silverado goes the extra mile for their guests by printing individual custom menus for events along with including table numbers, stands and candles for the dining tables. And last within the mansion is the gorgeous indoor/outdoor Fairway Deck. This space can accompany the Silverado Ballroom as a cocktail or post party space or stand-alone as a reception or party space. The siding is removed and reveals an open-air feel onto the golf course. With hardwood floors, a billowed-draped ceiling, and wine barrel tables and bars this space can be dressed for a formal garden feel or casual, comfortable space. Pre-party, post party, dinner party, cocktail party, or afternoon brunch are all a must in this space! French doors connect the Fairway Deck to the Silverado Ballroom.

Just outside the mansion is the Mansion Gardens holding up to 350 for an outdoor ceremony.  It’s also ideal for winter corporate functions in their seasonal tent accommodating 300 guests. This 5,000 square foot space is erected seasonally on a beautiful grassy lawn. Within the gardens is a vineyard backdrop ceremony site for elopements and intimate ceremonies.

Travel by golf cart out to the golf course and the Fairway Vineyard Ceremony Site. With a small vineyard as the backdrop, this tranquil and intimate space accommodates 100 guests. The ideal combination of venues for a wedding is the ceremony in the Fairway Vineyard and then indoors to the  Vintners Court reception in the mansion. The Vintner’s Court is the perfect dining experience or afterparty location. Cocktail tables and lounge furniture can be arranged or tables in varying sizes for dinner. With a full window wall this space brings the beauty of the golf course inside.

The Grove is also nicely situated on the golf course and can be experienced by your guests by shuttle and golf carts. Don’t miss the perfect First Look spot on the walking bridge over the year-round stream with deer and other wildlife abound. The Outer Grove Ceremony sites are nestled amongst abundant oak trees and are ideal for 150-300 guests. Seating beneath the oak trees with the pergola as the backdrop or choose from one of the oak tree arches. Each tree arch offers stunning oaks intertwining or as a stunning tree tunnel backdrop. The Inner Grove makes the perfect reception location following a ceremony using the Outer Grove. With space for 350 guests, this brick patio space boasts a stage, overhead crossing market lights, wood slatted walls and brick pillars. This open space is flexible in its use and design for your special event, but feels intimate with the low bordered walls. Silverado will cater your intimate or large event in this very special location.

If you are planning a business retreat, a meeting or more corporate style event, then be sure to see the Conference Rooms. Large and small, divided spaces are available with well thought-out audio visual equipment.

Last and definitely not least, is the Spa and Bocce Ball Courts. The Spa must be experienced even if its simply to use their onsite hair and nail services. The garden spaces, pools, and bocce courts create a peaceful and serene experience for a welcome reception or playful cocktail party. This large space offers variety and flexible use of the spaces with overhead lighting and tree lined walkways and wood wall backdrop.

What a gift of a unique experience at this very special property. Stay for the day or the weekend and definitely plan your next celebration at Silverado Resort.  We had a fantastic overnight experience and enjoyed the company of photographer extraordinaire, Allison Stahl of Allison Stahl Photography.
