If you are planning a large event this is a great space .  Right on the beautiful University of California, Davis campus is the ARC (Activities and Recreation Center), a fusion building opened in 2004, which houses the ARC Ballroom and Pavilion.  The Ballroom is a perfect space for a wedding reception, perhaps following a wedding at one of the lovely outdoor spaces on campus, see the Arboretum and Putah Creek Lodge.

Guest will enter into the foyer, which can be staged with tables and works well as a pre-function room for cocktails and entertaining.  Directly off the foyer is the large courtyard which can also be used for a ceremony, or perhaps alfresco appetizers and cocktails.   Next is the Ballroom, modern in decor and truly a blank slate that can be decorated to fit any theme, color or design. The Ballroom is large with pretty hanging lights which add to the elegance or can have a fun and flirty vibe.  These combined spaces work perfectly for corporate functions, fundraising dinners, auctions and parties.  The space rental includes table and chair options and the ballroom also has an impressive audiovisual system, with built in sound and lighting and ceiling mounted screens and projectors.

Also in the ARC Building is the Pavilion, which is actually a large gymnasium.   It can be used for sporting events and concerts, but with retractable seating, so the space works nicely for a gala dinner or trade shows.  It is the largest space on campus for events, fitting up to 1,000 for dining.  If wishing to check into the Featured Reviews of other UC Davis campus venues, click Alumni Center, Putah Creek Lodge, the Arboretum, or the Conference Center.
