Mountain House Estate, Sonoma County Venue ~ new features
We love to brag about our venues… and especially when they have something new to brag a bout! Last fall when we visited Mountain House Estate, located near Cloverdale, CA, at the Northern end of Sonoma County (wine country), and after our opportunity to spend the night and “live” the venue for a number of hours, we made a few suggestions to owner John about our thoughts on incorporating more wood into the lovely Great Room. It was a dreamy white room, but our thought was in keeping with the woodsy feel, the barn, and the mountains and trees, we felt a bit more wood elements might need to be added to this special room. John listened, and he is a fabulous designer and “do-er” of wonderful architectural elements (you should see the indoor bar!!), so look at the great wood and rustic additions he made to the Great Room. Nice touch, John!
So you can get the “flavor” of Mountain House Estate, there are a number of locations to hold a wedding ceremony…check out a few below in natural woodsy settings . One could be out of the lawn by the trees, or another under the giant heritage oak tree or in front of the quaint barn. Beautiful!
