Something new at The Hotel Sutter ~ THE COPPER ROOM
Located in historic Sutter Creek, one of the quaint small towns in gold county, is The Hotel Sutter. This building’s earliest incarnation was known as the American House, built on this site in 1852. During the height of California’s gold-rush, the property served as both a stage stop for the Adams & Company Express and a central meeting place for locals to catch up on the day’s events. Through several fires and rebuilding, The Hotel Sutter has emerged triumphant!
The most recent renovation is the rock walled and brick lined underground/basement area; oh the stories this room could tell. The handsome Copper Room is operating as a bar and fun gathering space. It’s moody, dark and romantic, yet lively, too! Catch up with friends over whiskey flights and brisket sandwiches! It’s perfect for private events for 100 or fewer.
