The Barn at Second Wind, Freeport, CA ~ Venue of the Week
Our post for Venue of the Week is The Barn at Second Wind. This idyllic country venue is situated along the Sacramento River, just 15 minutes from downtown Sacramento. A huge heritage oak tree shades the ceremony area, with a fantastic barn as a backdrop. Inside the barn are open beam wood rafters, a gorgeous chandelier, and the lawn and play area are steps away… offering bocce ball and horseshoes. Photos ops can be had in so many places, including their sweet vineyard, rose covered split-rail fencing, the surrounding farmland and the best part, is the very nearby river levee and defunct railroad tracks. Second Wind comes with custom made wood farm tables (beautifully made), as well as a bridal dressing room – so convenient!
