The Maples, Woodland, CA ~ Venue of the Week
Our post for Venue of the Week is The Maples, located in Yolo County, just outside Woodland, CA. With a nod to early California Spanish architecture, plus being out in the farm land there is a casual country feel to The Maples. Impressive from the first entrance with a canopy of large olive trees that line the roadway, and then there is the expansive open lawn and gorgeous trees (consider marrying under the spread of a beautifully situated tree). Other options to hold a ceremony is in front of an old barn, or even in front of a free-standing brick fireplace (wonderful to have options). Dinner and dancing is gloriously al fresco with lounge seating set up around the pool – Heaven! The Maples has expansive grounds and works very well for a corporate event, or large social gathering.
