Venue of the Week is Antiquite Maison Privee, affectionately referred to as the Jewel of Midtown (Sacramento). This historic building (a former machine shop, and antique store) is romantic, handsome, versatile and the perfect size venue for an intimate wedding, cocktail party, shower, or wine tasting event (an urban winery is housed in the back of the property using grapes from the owner’s Napa vineyard). Antiquite hosts music event/concerts and is convenient for the business and political downtown scene. There is even a sweet patio with wine barrels! With open wood beam ceiling treatment and heavy wrought iron chandeliers, along with a collection of furniture and antiques to adorn the interior of the main space, all this lends decor and ambience to any event.
