Vixen Vendor Collaboration – Home Wedding
In May of this year, long time friends of Vixen Lora married in the couple’s back yard. Marcia and King asked Lora to help them plan their “encore” wedding… and since Lora knows a thing or two about weddings (since she has been a planner for many decades) the event was a smashing success!! Marcia and King wanted an intimate ceremony to celebrate their love and relationship, which was held in the morning, witnessed by immediate family, followed by an open house for 130 close friends! Lora knew who to collaborate with and a few were Vixen Vendors.
King is quite a few inches taller then Marcia, so we created a fun “Kissing Stool” (see above photo) to bring Marcia up to King’s height (Marcia surprised King with this fun moment). For bridesmaids and flower girls, Marcia asked all her granddaughters to participate… they were so sweet and lovely. Her one and only grandson was “ring security.”
Food (and the bar) was top priority for this couple, and so Vixen Vendor Jackson Catering & Events provided all the bar service, staffing and incredible food. A luncheon was served to the immediate family right after the ceremony, and then later during the open house, tray passed appetizers were plentiful as well as sumptuous food stations positioned about the house and yard.
Marcia and King wanted a little wacky fun by way of a photo booth. Vixen Vendor Mr DJ Event Service was able to provide just the right set up. The guests thoroughly enjoyed the many props this company provides (those flower girls and ring bearer really had a blast!)
The photographer for this lovely wedding was Vixen Vendor Allison Stahl Photography. Allison is the perfect “fly on the wall” and floats around watching and capturing all the expressions, details, tender moments and the fun-loving vibes. She saw beauty in these two simple chairs and we love her for her creative eye.
