Vixen Vittles at Chateau Davell Boutique Winery
The Vixens, were treated to a wonderful time at Chateau Davell Boutique Winery. During our visit, the owners of the winery, Eric & Emily Hays, set up the handmade wood-fired pizza oven. We had delicious pizza served with a fresh crisp salad. We also had the chance to taste several varietals of wine and they did not disappoint!
We enjoyed these “Vixen Vittles” in the homey comfort of The Love Shack right next to the tasting room. The Hays are excellent hosts – Eric, the wine maker, and Emily, the decorator and mastermind in the kitchen. Our Vixen Vendor Courtland (Courtland Photography) snapped a bunch of photos and then enjoyed a glass (or two) of Cabernet Franc. The Chardonnay was yummy and the THREE different kinds of pizza were fabulous (we had a margarita, veggie and meat pizza.)
This Vixen Venue is located in El Dorado County, very near the Apple Hill region. A lovely location for an intimate wedding on the Vista Lawn, or smaller events such as a birthday party, bridal shower, anniversary party… you name it. And The Love Shack is warm and cozy for your friends to gather, drink and eat. The summer series of live music starts up in June.
