Vixen Vittles ~ Towne House Restaurant @ Wine & Roses
A while back we had a most fantastic lunch at the Towne House Restaurant at beautiful Wine & Roses in Lodi, CA. She’s the Sales Manager at this venue and she knows her stuff!

Check out these beautiful food shots. We tried a whole bunch of different dishes and shared. First up is the Fresh Dungeness Crab Cake served with Asian Slaw and Mango Aioli.
We thoroughly enjoyed the Lodi Olive Oil platter with three different EVOOs, a variety of olives, Kalamata Tapenade to spread over Dancing Fox Baguette
A delicious Southwestern Style Pizza was a big hit. Roasted Chicken, Tomatillo Salsa, Cilantro Sour Cream and melted Jack Cheese.
Because it’s beet season, we did feel it a requirement <smile> to enjoy a Beet & Frisee Salad – Cypress Grove Goat Cheese, Fresh Orange Segments served with a Blood Orange Vinaigrette. Pretty, too. A couple of us ordered their piping hot and very rich housemade Clam Chowder.
An absolute crowd pleasure was the unique Tamale Pancake – a Masa Pancake, Avocado Salad, BBQ Chicken, Cilantro Sour Cream & Crispy Tortilla Chips on top.
And you can’t end a meal without a sweet. This Trio of Creme Brulee was great… although we were so full we requested to share just one dessert… then we fought over which Brulee we wanted. Soooo good.
