Creek Casino and owned by the same tribe – the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation. They own and farm thousands of acres with an array of crops providing some of the products in the tasting room.
The lovely outside areas lend themselves well to social events taking advantage of scenic views and nice landscaping. A small intimate wedding ceremony can be held under the olive trees, with Capay Valley views and surrounding hillside. Steps away is the Pergola patio that can seat about 60 guests for dinner or 75 for a stand-up reception. Graceful olive trees, meandering pathways, and delicate blooming white roses and even fragrant lavender, add to the polished rustic elegance giving a Mediterranean vibe to your event. The freestanding market umbrellas add a bit of whimsy and shade, and the finishing touch is the firepit for evening warmth.
If the event you are planning a larger the open-air Event Lawn can accommodate 150 people seated. First, start with appetizers on the olive tree patio. Then have dinner and dancing on the Event Lawn with wonderful views and end the evening star gazing. A nice conference room is inside the tasting room which can be used as a bridal changing room or a staging area.
The Tasting Room with tasteful details including the impressive lighting fixtures, rustic floors and oversized wooden doors. This indoor space is available for events and a great option for year-round events. Pre-plan so your guests can watch through the large glass windows how olive oil is made – what fun! The Seka Hills Deli offers a selection of artisan snacks and also a large selection of outstanding wine varieties.
Seka Hill can provide food and beverages for intimate events, just bring your wedding cake and some champagne. Since they are winery, beer and wine is conveniently arranged through the venue (no hard alcohol). If it is a more elaborate plan you have in mind there are several options for full service caterers on their list including their neighbor, Cache Creek Casino.
Parking is ample and photo ops are everywhere. A fun vintage farm truck sits next to a perfect vista to create wedding photos that are unique. You can also find their wine at the Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg.
